Professor E. Gadds (Pending)'s Info...
| Breed: | Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) Mix | Color: | Brindle - With White | Age: | Young |
| Size: | Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) | Sex: | Male |
Professor E. Gadds was discovered in a high kill shelter after being picked up as a stray. Everyone who visited him fell in love with him. His joyful exuberance even in such a grim place was infectious! As soon as his stray hold was up we pulled him and placed him in a foster home.
In his new foster home he is learning some of the basic things he should have learned as a young pup. He is already housetrained and crate trained. He is learning to walk on a leash and to obey basic commands.
With training, The Professor will be a good addition to a family. He is big enough to be a sturdy playmate but not so big as to be intimidating.
Rescue Group Info...
Saving The Animals Together (S.T.A.T.) is a group of animal lovers dedicated to networking and rescuing dogs and cats from our local high kill shelter, as well as animals that are in danger of being sent to a high kill facility. All of our dogs and cats are rescued in Tennessee. We invite you to help us save the lives of these pets on death row.
We are a foster based rescue and as such, we have no public facilities. Our fosters are all in Tennessee, therefore meeting your pet before adoption is not possible. However, we will provide accurate information about each animal. Because they are fostered in homes, we are able to assess their temperament. The fosters work on behavior, house training, socialization and provide the best individualized care.
Our adoption fee of $350 includes vetting, including spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, heartworm/lyme/ehrlichiosis test for all dogs (and treatment for any positive results),a microchip, and transport costs. (Adopter is responsible to register the chip and pay any registration fees). All of our adoptable pets are current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative. You will find our preliminary application on our website http://www.savingtheanimalstogether.org/#!adoptable-dogs-and-cats/c1yi2 Upon receiving your application a volunteer will contact you for a telephone interview and then our local volunteer will set up a home visit.
