Professor E. Gadds (Pending)'s Story...
Professor E. Gadds was discovered in a high kill shelter after being picked up as a stray. Everyone who visited him fell in love with him. His joyful exuberance even in such a grim place was infectious! As soon as his stray hold was up we pulled him and placed him in a foster home.

In his new foster home he is learning some of the basic things he should have learned as a young pup. He is already housetrained and crate trained. He is learning to walk on a leash and to obey basic commands.

With training, The Professor will be a good addition to a family. He is big enough to be a sturdy playmate but not so big as to be intimidating.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Professor E. Gadds (Pending), a Carlisle Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Carlisle, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Carlisle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlisle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlisle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlisle paves the way for another one to be saved.
