I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Phillipe is a 8 yr. old chi- mix sweet little lovable lap dog. He was found roaming the streets of Canyon City and appears to have frostbite along the edges of his ears. Phillipe is mild mannered and loves to play with the 'big boys'(31-56 lb dogs) as a micro wrestler, but knows when it's time for a nap on your lap. He is on the skinny side but I'm feeding him more (slowly) to hopefully fatten him up. He likes toys and treats. He also likes cats and doesn't mind sharing his space with them. He likes stuffed toys.
Adoption fee is $80 and covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, spay/neuter. Adoption fees also allow us to continue saving animals. Please email ARRColorado@gmail.com for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.

We are a private, non-profit, 501(c)3 organization. We work with foster homes to help find homes for pets in need. We coordinate with other shelters and rescue groups to help spread the word about homeless pets on a regular basis. Our philosophy is that each pet deserves a loving home and a long, healthy, happy life. We do everything in our power to ensure pets receive the training, veterinary care, and loving attention needed in order to provide a "happy ending" for everyone! We operate a volunteer-run thrift store in Breckenridge, Colorado to help fund our operations so we can help as many pets as possible. "For Pets' Sake" is located at 203 N. We ask potential adopters to fill out our adoption application form on our website online, or we can email one directly. Once the application is reviewed and approved, we arrange to do a quick home visit. Once the home visit has been approved, an adoption agreement needs to be filled out online at www.animalrescueoftherockies.org
