Tilley is a rockstar. We got this little one to come out of her shell by playing music for her and singing. She is extremely affectionate and has no problem nudging her head into your hand when she wants some attention. When she wants a snuggle, she will actually grab your hand with her paws and pull it towards her. Although a bit shy at first, she quickly comes around and just wants to play! She has the most beautiful eyes! Golden yellow with lime green rings around her pupils. She is a dilute tortoiseshell with beautiful markings, and her fluffy fur makes her look like a little tiny lion.

Tilley was feral for the first 9 months of her life so she needs someone who can be very patient with her while she gets comfy in her new home. If you show her some TLC, she will be such a good friend to you. Tilley will do the best in a laid-back adult-only home with confident cat lovers. I don't think she would do well with other cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tilley, a Vancouver Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
