Archie's Story...
Meet Archie!

Archie is such a sweet boy, looking for his chance to know what love feels like. 10 year old Archie's story is a heartbreaking one showing him as being cast aside for pretty much all his life, from his weather beaten ears to teeth that have been sorely neglected for quite some time. Sadly, Archie's humble saga almost came to a screeching halt when he was left at a high kill shelter that still uses gas as their method of euthanasia! Thanks to the kindness of Archie's guardian angel, he was saved from that facility just in the nick of time. Archie was brought to us in hopes that with our individual attention placed on our animals, and the TLC that we specialize in, that he might just find that chance he is so sorely looking for.

Archie is a huge lovebug who just needs someone who needs him! All he wants is a special someone to curl up with, and a place to belong. If Archie is not the boy for you, you can still help him by donating towards his care- Archie does appear to be suffering from a potential slipped disc or arthritis, of which he has been seen by a local vet and is currently receiving pain medications to address. Potentially Archie may need to undergo xrays or further treatment which can be costly.

Get to know Archie today! We think you'll find he's the best friend you've been looking for!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Archie, a Muskegon Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
