Eldridge's Story...
Eldridge is a distinguished 4 year old Maltese mix who is looking for a second chance at a lasting and loving 'fur'ever home! His story begins as a tiny puppy who was picked out at a pet store by his family to become the newest member of the household. Unfortunately that excitement was short lived, as Eldridge's history shows repeated visits to shelters as a stray. Eldridge deserves to have a place in a home with people who are committed to keeping him safe and secure- and with one look at his sweet little face, how could anyone *not* want to keep him nearby at all time?? Eldridge does have a few allergies and will need to avoid certain foods, but don't let that deter you from falling in love with this handsome guy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eldridge, a Muskegon Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
