Lucky-Updated's Story...
**This little guy was so happy to have all his painful mats removed by a loving groomer he could hardly stand still to have a new photo taken! Now that the neglect has been removed from his tiny body we are starting to see his true personality! He is constantly wagging his tail and happy to see all that stop in. Please take a moment to meet Lucky and get to know him.**

Lucky is hoping his name holds true, as he is looking for a late in life second chance with a forever home to call his own!

Lucky is a 9 year old maltese who was surrendered when his owner was faced with a move that he could not be a part of.

He is a highly social boy who adores people of all ages- if you have attention to lavish, he will be your best friend!!

As a maltese, Lucky will require routine groomings to keep his luxurious coat in tip top shape- he will be more than eager to take part in those adventures though, as it will be one more person for him to get to know and make friends with!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky-Updated, a Muskegon Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
