Chad's Story...
Well hi!! I'm a happy little 1yr old beagle mix, weighing in at about 17lbs (I'm a little overweight haha). They call me Chad - I think that's the equivalent of "cool dude" in California-speak.

I love to play with other dogs, and I'm great with kids. I don't know what else you need in a family dog - ohh maybe some cuddles? I can do that too! Especially if I roll on my back and give you the honour of giving me belly rubs! I am told by my Foster Mama that I'm pretty awesome...I even put myself to bed in my crate at the end of the day. Do you have toys like they do? I love toys - they're great fun! I also love treats and food, so please know that I don't want to put on much weight anymore so you'll have to help monitor my food intake.

If you're interested in me, please contact the nice people at CaliCan Rescue (calicanrescue@gmail..com) today! My adoption fees are $280 and they include all vaccinations (DHLPP, Rabies), microchip, deworming, heart worm testing, my neuter, and any vet visits I needed to make sure I am ready to come home to you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chad, a Edmonton Beagle/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Chihuahua for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Beagle/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Chihuahua breeders who help with Beagle/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
