Beamer's Info...

Beamer's Story...
Beamer is a sweet and affectionate adult Dachshund weighing in at approximately 16 lbs. He enjoys being around other dogs and know basic commands. Beamer has a great attention span and would do well with advanced training. While Beamer will sleep in a kennel during overnight hours, he much prefers to sleep with his primary caregiver. What makes Beamer a good bed-mate is that he does not hog the bed. Beamer will continue to flourish in a home with a yard to run and play. And Beamer becomes very attached to anyone who loves on him!

He plays well with other dogs, but does best with dogs bigger than him. He is a little too excitable for most cats, but may do well with a laid back cat. He is a real sweetheart and a very happy boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beamer, a Baltimore Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
