Collins's Story...
Collins is a male dachshund / terrier mix about 1 year old. He actually resembles a miniature Labrador! He has the most beautiful gold eyes and friendly nature. He weighs about 15 pounds, all of it love. He is a sweet and quiet natured dog, he would be a great lap buddy. He gets along with other dogs, male and female. Likes to play, but would be just as happy just sitting by your side watching the TV. He is up to date on vax, neutered and on monthly heart worm prevention. If you think that Collins is a good match for you please call to schedule an appointment to meet this wonderful little guy at 931-698-0303 or email woofwoof324@gmail.com. An adoption fee of $150 is required which goes toward saving another dog in need. Oh and he is crate trained too!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Collins, a Columbia Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
