My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kalista: 3 -4 yr old female, white mitted tabby and white Maine Coon

It is hard to know what to say first about this beautiful girl. Her coloring I guess is where I will start. She is gorgeous. She has the white bib and the white feet which I always love. but she also has a "Paintbrush" tail which is so much fun. This term, which I love, refers to a tail which at the tip looks as if it was dipped in paint in this case she is double dipped with a band of black and then the
white tip. I have never seen a tail double dipped like that before.
Her pale green eyes, set off with creamy eyeliner, are the perfect color for her tabby reddish brown markings. She is very unusual, striking , in her coloring. I don't have the face shot I want of her
- she won't hold still and look at the camera. Stay tuned.

She is a healthy athletic girl, very loving to humans, full of play and curiosity and intelligence. She is a great cat.She does not like other cats and needs to be the only cat in her home. She wants all the attention. She loves to have her thick, soft fur petted and fussed with. She weighs a little over 11pounds.

'She was brought into the shelter previously spayed. Someone clearly loved her and her family probably are the ones that dropped her off "stray." She was clean, well fed,and in sparkling health.

She will be a wonderful family companion. She is active of course but also likes to cuddle. She would probably be fine with older gentle children. I don't know about dogs.

She eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

The last photo is her shelter picture.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
