Lola is a beautiful, sweet, affectionate, and fun-loving girl. She will request attention from her people by rubbing up against them. Once successful in receiving petting, Lola will flop over on her side, crank up her purr motor, and unashamedly bask in the attention that's being bestowed upon her. Lola loves to be pet, especially when the petting includes head, chin, and ear rubs! If you observe Lola suddenly flopping over while in your lap, there is no need for panic. Lola hasn't suddenly collapsed because of a medical emergency…she has suddenly collapsed due to a please-pet-me-now emergency!
Lola is very playful, enjoying toys of all shapes and sizes! Lola loves chasing balls, letting nothing get in her way of capture. She has been seen picking up a ball with bells in her paw and shaking it around. We're not sure if she does this as a form of playing or if she does this because it's a way to make music. Either way, it's fun to watch! Lola loves the fabric wand toy and feels it is her personal mission to attack and subdue this toy, no matter the cost. She'll wrestle with it, roll around on the ground with it, and carry it around the room with her to make sure it knows that she is boss! If the fabric wand toy is dangling off of a condo corner, Lola accepts the challenge this poses and immediately begins batting it and pulling at it until she is victorious in subduing it once again!
Lola seems fine in the presence of other friendly kitties. Lola's new family will not only enjoy her affectionate nature, but they will enjoy her playful antics as well. Lola will bring a lot of love and laughter to her new home! To learn more - www.azrescue.org.

Rescue Group Info...
RESCUE is a registered non-profit volunteer based animal rescue organization located in Maricopa County. RESCUE has no central facility and is volunteer run. Our focus is on the "kill lists." We were founded in 1995, and with the support of our volunteers and our community, we have found homes for over 9,000 dogs and cats. Our motto is for every animal adopted, we are back to rescue another. We depend on the community for our support and offer a variety of satisfying ways for you to get involved in our mission to end the killing of the orphaned dogs and cats. Please consider adopting, volunteering or donating.
We do not have a shelter. We are at various special events around the valley. Please see our Upcoming Events section on our website for further information. We look forward to meeting you and introducing you to some of our wonderful animals.
Fill out an online application, have an interview with a Matchmaker, if we are in philosophical alignment, set up a meet and greet and if all goes well finalize the adoption. Our service fee for dogs is $150 and $125 for cats. All our dogs and cats are spayed and neutered prior to adoption.
