Lorenzo's Story...
Lorenzo can be described in many ways - snuggler, cuddler, affectionate, loving - do you sense a theme? Lorenzo loves, loves, loves people! Lorenzo loves attention from his people and loves petting anywhere, anytime, especially petting that involves having his head, chin, and chest scratched. He also loves having his gorgeous gray coat brushed on a regular basis. Lorenzo loves snuggling in your lap and will change positions multiple times to ensure you have been able to pet every inch of him. He also loves snuggling in your arms - in fact, you can just about feel Lorenzo melting as you pick him up and hold him close; in return he'll hug your neck, nuzzle your face, and purr sweet nothings into your ear! Lorenzo also expresses his appreciation for your affection with gentle head butts, sweet kitty kisses, and the cutest trilling sounds!

Although Lorenzo is over the moon with happiness when he is getting loved on by his people, he does enjoy a good round of playtime. Lorenzo loves chasing balls and loves playing with fabric and feather wands. Those cute trilling sounds he lets out while getting petted…he'll also let some of those loose while he's playing! Speaking of letting loose…it seems like half of the time we see Lorenzo his tongue is hanging out! Don't take it personally…it's just another endearing quality of his!

Lorenzo enjoys the companionship of other friendly kitties and wouldn't mind having another kitty friend or two for companionship and playtime. Lorenzo is a great cat who deserves a great home with a great family. If you think you can provide our sweet boy with that type of home, please fill out an application today - www.azrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lorenzo, a Phoenix Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
