Valentina is a sweet, affectionate, little gal who loves nothing more than to solicit petting and love from her people. She'll take the direct approach by walking right up to you with a look of hopeful anticipation on her face that the pettings will soon commence. If that doesn't do the trick, the next move she employs in her quest to be pet is repeatedly rubbing up against your leg, your side, your back, or whatever part of your body that is available to be rubbed. If you choose to pick her up, Valentina rewards you by purring loud and cuddling close. If you choose to pet her as she stands beside you, Valentina rewards you by purring loud and falling over. There is no need for alarm if she suddenly flops over on her side; this is the trick she employs to ensure you are able to pet as much of her body as possible! You will notice that all throughout your interactions with her, she not only purrs loudly, she purrs non-stop!
Valentina is a big fan of both feather and fabric wand toys. She will enthusiastically run all over the place in pursuit of those wand toys! During playtime, if you tire before she does there is a simple solution…hang the fabric wand toy over a kitty condo corner so it dangles in a most tantalizing way, sit back, relax, and enjoy the show Valentina puts on as she bats at the fabric and tries to pull it off the condo so she can triumphantly carry it off to a place of her choosing!
Valentina seems to be fine around other friendly kitties. This sweet kitty would be a great addition to just about any home. Don't make Valentina wait too long for her forever home…fill out an application for her today - www.azrescue.org.

Rescue Group Info...
RESCUE is a registered non-profit volunteer based animal rescue organization located in Maricopa County. RESCUE has no central facility and is volunteer run. Our focus is on the "kill lists." We were founded in 1995, and with the support of our volunteers and our community, we have found homes for over 9,000 dogs and cats. Our motto is for every animal adopted, we are back to rescue another. We depend on the community for our support and offer a variety of satisfying ways for you to get involved in our mission to end the killing of the orphaned dogs and cats. Please consider adopting, volunteering or donating.
We do not have a shelter. We are at various special events around the valley. Please see our Upcoming Events section on our website for further information. We look forward to meeting you and introducing you to some of our wonderful animals.
Fill out an online application, have an interview with a Matchmaker, if we are in philosophical alignment, set up a meet and greet and if all goes well finalize the adoption. Our service fee for dogs is $150 and $125 for cats. All our dogs and cats are spayed and neutered prior to adoption.
