Rex's Story...
“Hi my name is Rex. I’m about 3 or 4 years old. Before I came to Picasso’s Place, I spent most of my time in my crate, my family was too busy to pay attention to me. I love to chill out on the couch and burrow under blankets when it’s time for a nap. I get really excited to meet new people and dogs and interact well once I’m properly introduced. I’m house trained, so don’t worry I’ll let you know when I need to go outside. I don’t need lots of toys and frilly things, just a warm lap to sit in will do just fine. I’m hoping to find a loving family and a place to call my forever home”.

Rex is 13 lbs and current on all his vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, heart worm negative and on monthly heart worm and flea and tick prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rex, a Myersville Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Myersville, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Myersville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Myersville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Myersville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Myersville paves the way for another one to be saved.
