Gabby's Story...
Hi, my name is Gabby. My foster family named me that because I was the first to "talk" when they brought me and my friend home from the shelter. I'm very good at getting your attention if you forget I'm around. My mom says I talk with my whole body, wiggling all over when you talk to me or when the family comes home from being gone, you know I'm so glad to have you home. I love to shower you with puppy kisses and curl up in your lap to take a nap. I'm potty pad trained and learning to go outside thru our family doggie door, I love to play outside with my doggie friends at our house too. I've seen the family cat, but she's not interested in playing with us. I love the kids that come to visit our house too. If you take me home with you, I promise you will be well loved by me with plenty of affection. Please remember that puppies are a lot of work, but we are well worth it. Love, Gabby ** Gabby is spayed, current on all age appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. She is being fostered in Huntsville, AL. For an application, email info@FORrescue.net today. Her adoption fee is $225. ***

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gabby, a Homewood Basset Hound/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Beagle for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Basset Hound/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Beagle breeders who help with Basset Hound/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
