Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Veronica's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Veronica's Story...
Veronica was found living outside with a litter of kittens. She was super thin, covered in fleas, in poorly health and had been physically abused. She was afraid of the rescuers, however, she allowed herself to be pet, washed in a tub, and handled. She's just shy when there is too much commotion.

Since her rescue, and her kittens adopted out, she's made a lot of progress. There is no doubt Veronica will continue to blossom. There are other cats in her foster home so it would be great to get Veronica to a place where she can get more one on one attention to continue her progress. This is a super sweet and laid back cat. She's also rather interesting as far as her markings and coloring- Calico with a Tabby Tail! One of a Kind!! Veronica has been with the rescue since September 2011. It's her turn for a Freedom ride to her Forever Home! --- UPDATE-- Veronica has continued to blossom and now loves us to pet her!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Veronica, a Olmsted Falls Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Olmsted Falls, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Olmsted Falls.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Olmsted Falls already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Olmsted Falls breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Olmsted Falls paves the way for another one to be saved.
