My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy could not be any more perfect of a dachshund or a dog. She rarely barks, likes everyone she meets, she is perfectly house trained. Daisy has no issue with the size of any dog she meets, she is quite easy going and friendly to all. She adores all humans. She loves to play in the snow and loves to play with other dogs. She is also a real cuddler. Daisy only has one flaw and it is not really a flaw and it is not her fault. She is significantly overweight at 25#. Daisy gave all the signs when she first arrived that human food was what she was used to and all she was going to eat. She eventually came around and now runs to her bowl when its time to eat. She is active, healthy, has no back issues and we do not want her to have any which is why it is important for her to continue eating healthy and exercising. Fortunately Daisy loves to go for walks, she also gets very excited about car rides. When she gets down to dachsie diva weight she will be even more beautiful than she is right now. Daisy's ideal Colorado home will have a family willing to devote their time to her the way she will be devoted and loyal to her family. Daisy is young and social and she needs to get out to experience life. To meet this awesome dachshund an adoption application must be filled out & submitted. This can be done online at www.c2cdr.org. Daisy's adoption fee is $250.00, being the lucky one who will bring her home - priceless.
