Noel's Story...
This adorable little girl was brought to the shelter after being passed on to a family member by her owner. Seems Noel didn't want to share her spotlight with the newest member of the family. When given to another family member she could not seem to find her place with them either, which is when she was brought to us.

It is obvious that Noel has been lacking in some basic care. She has some fur loss due to fleas, which she is now being treated for, and her nails were so long it had to be painful for her to walk.

At 4 years old this sweet Chihuahua mix is in need of a loving home and warm lap to call her own. She will need a home with no small children where she can relax and feel secure again.

Unable to resist this adorable face? Take a moment to fill out an application and stop in to visit with her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Noel, a Muskegon Chihuahua/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pug for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pug dog from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pug breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
