Buttons's Story...
Her name is so fitting because she really is as cute as a.... Button!! Buttons is a sweet, gentle, cuddly girl that wants nothing more than a forever family to love her. She LOVES people and something as simple as a look her way or a few words light her up and cause that cute little butt to wiggle in excitement. Buttons gets along great with her foster brother and sisters, but would choose a lap and cuddle time over play time. Buttons just arrived recently, so more info will be included soon as her foster family gets to know her better. Buttons is estimated to be 10-12 months old and weighs 27 pounds.

Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom & dad are!), we are guessing on breed and size when grown.

Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis.

If you are interested in meeting this dog or pup please fill out the pre-adoption application on our website at under Adopt and we will get back to you to arrange a meeting in the foster home.

We also have an Adoptable Dog Meet & Greet on Saturday, April 6th at Fetch Delivers Warehouse at 2303 Kennedy St. NE from noon - 2 pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buttons, a Minneapolis Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
