Arianna
I was so sad: Someone abandoned me, along with my Dad, Anderson. Now, my dad and I are being fostered by AnimaLovers, hoping for a home where we won’t ever be abandoned, again, and where we will be nice and warm, like we are now! I play with everyone and follow my foster mom everywhere! I sometimes still duck under the sofa if you move fast or it gets real noisy, but I come out when my foster mom calls or I know it's mealtime (I love to eat!). I like to sleep on the bed (even under the covers), curled up against my foster mom; but, I also like sitting at the top of the cat tree so I can look outside at the squirrels. I love cuddling and being petted. I'm becoming more outgoing and loving every day and would make a wonderful companion for someone who wants a pal for themselves and their friendly cat(s). I need a home where I have a buddy! Idea: Take me home with my dad, Anderson-- he looks JUST LIKE ME only a little bigger - he even has blue eyes! To meet us, please call AnimaLovers at 448-5468, and press 1 for the adoption line.
Rescue Group Info...
AnimaLovers was founded in 1995 by a small group of friends who wanted to provide needy cats and dogs in the Capital District of New York with a better way to find their way to safety and new lives. As of 2011, AnimaLovers is serving cats, only. AnimaLovers's mission is to:
* To provide housing, veterinary care, and adoption for unwanted, abandoned, injured, or stray cats;
* To educate adopters, as well as the general public, about the health and training needs of our companion animals;
* To promote spaying and neutering as an efficient and humane means of animal population control; and
* To advocate for legislation that will prevent cruelty to animals.
In addition, AnimaLovers has expanded beyond the boundaries of cat and dog rescue and adoption to meet the needs of other animals as well by creating programs to help families keep their companion animals healthy by providing low cost spay/neuter services and emergency veterinary care.
You can visit our cat clinics in the East Greenbush PetSmart. We look forward to seeing you there! Click here for directions. Our hours are:
