Cheep's Story...
Cheep is a one year old peach face lovebird. He is a little shy in his cage, but loves to spend time people watching. Once in awhile he gets bold and will come out to watch what you are doing a little closer. He's not really the cuddly type yet, but will give kisses through the bars of his cage. He loves tormenting the dog, but he is quiet most of the time, besides the little "cheep" noises he makes. He is a very sweet little guy and just needs some time and patience to become a little more socialized!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheep, a Tampa Lovebird was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lovebird for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Lovebird from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lovebird breeders who help with Lovebird rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
