Midnight's Story...
Hi, I'm Midnight, a 4 year old boy with all black fur and a tiny spot of white on my neck. All of the volunteers love me because I am such a friendly, laid back boy. I love being carried around, and think it's really fun to climb on your shoulders and lay across the back of your neck when you walk around. As soon as I see people, I start purring and want attention. I am very curious about other cats and dogs, and with proper introduction, I think we will get along fine.
My favorite things are toys filled with catnip, feather toys, canned food, and lots of people to carry me around and give me attention. I would probably do great with children because I love being handled.

If you are interested in finding out more about Midnight, please fill out an application on our website. Midnight is being fostered in Framingham.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Midnight, a Worcester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
