Flukinger's Story...
Hi, my name is Flukinger. Funny name, yes but it is the road that I was found on. A little over a year ago my current owners found me on the side of the road in Waller complete with fleas, worms, and I was starving. They brought me home, took me to the vet, and most importantly fed me. I am a very healthy boy now. My current parents have three other older dogs and a baby. They really want me to have a home where I can get the attention that I need and deserve. I would do best in a home where I am the only dog and get lots of exercise.

I am up to date on shots, microchipped, heartworm tested. Adoption fee is $125.

Please email Buster's Friends to find out which adoption event I will be attending this weekend.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flukinger, a Houston Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Houston, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
