Lovey's Story...
Lovey is an darling mix breed pup (Lab/Catahoula/Bulldog mix?) who was rescued from a high kill shelter in rural Louisiana *just* in the nick of time. Her mother and littermates had all been killed when our rescue friend Jen scooped this sweet baby up. Lovey is fostered on a farm in Louisiana and is learning all about puppy playmates, kitty friends & even about horses. Lovey is a 8 week old pup and will be available for adoption in a few weeks once she receives a few more booster vaccines.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lovey, a Richmond Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
