Whittaker's Story...
TRANSFERRED TO PURRS
Whittaker is a DLH orange tabby/buff male, who is a gentle giant. He is about 5 years old. Because of his extra long fur and being outside for years fending for himself, his coat was badly matted. His whole body is shaved, plus most of the tail. The fur on his legs, chest, and face has been left intact, for the most part.

He is naturally timid with new people. Once he knows you are a friend and he can trust you, he is up front and center, meowing for attention. He only wants to be cuddled and loved!

Adoption fee is a minimum $55 per cat donation to Feral Fixers . All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and felv/fiv negative.

Brief screening questionaire and contract apply!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Whittaker, a Lombard Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Lombard, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Lombard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lombard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lombard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lombard paves the way for another one to be saved.
