SPIKE's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

SPIKE's Story...
Spike is a very handsome and pround Jack Russell Terrier (like all rescues, we can't guarantee he isn't mixed iwth something). But he is full of personality and loves attention. He loves to walk on his leash and explore the territory. (He is housebroken.) But most of all he loves to be cuddled on your lap. He plays with his toys and will get along with other dogs if properly introduced - preferably a female about his size. He is a no cat dog... Kids would be great, but not real little ones.

All SafHaven pets are fully vetted...spayed/neutered, up to date on all shots. Heartworm negative and on preventative medication. He has be micro chipped with Home Again and SafHaven covers the first year (from date of chipping) on all dogs. I

If you are looking for a great housepet, Spike could be the one you are looking for...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SPIKE, a McLoud Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in McLoud, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in McLoud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McLoud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McLoud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McLoud paves the way for another one to be saved.
