Danielle is a small (under 15 pounds) rat terrier mix in a beautiful brown and white color. She is spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots and micro chipped with Home Again. She would do best if she was the only dog or with one other small dog. She is crate and potty pad trained.

She is very sweet and loves to sit in your lap and be petted. She has lots of love to give and is very protective of her family. Looking or her forever loving home... Is that your home? Dani has special needs that will be discussed with a potential adopter.

About Our Rescue Group...
SafHaven Animal Rescue Society is a small rescue that focuses on the rescue of animals in kill shelters that have been left behind - especially at gassing facilities. Currently, we only take in dogs, but hope to expand so that we can serve the feline and equine communities as well. We will also work with the public when they need to relinquish a pet to ensure that the pets are ready to adopt to SafHaven standards (i.e. spayed/neutered and utd on shots) and then we will provide a courtesy listing to find a good home instead of the animals winding up at the pound. Big or Small - We Love Them All.

SafHaven attends specialty events when available such as the Black and White FurBall and the Summer Parade of Pets Series. We also attend other organized events, and list on facebook and on our website as well as Petfinder.com.

Our Adoption Process...
All applicants must complete an adoption application; once the application is approved, applicants can meet with the propective pet and determine if this pet is the right one for their family situation. When possible a safety check of the fence is completed, veterinary checks are done and the adoption is completed. Adopter must sign a contract that they will give all and proper care to the animal and return to SafHaven if for any reason they cannot keep the pet (refund applies depending on the length of time). Follow-up contact is made to ensure the new family is settling in. There is an adoption donation requested for all pets - the amount is dependent upon the animal and expenses to prepare the animal for adoption such as spay/neuter; hw treatment, etc.
