Buster's Story...

**This is a courtesy post**

Buster is a vibrant, loyal, loving, and smart dog that is searching for his Fur-ever home.  He not only loves to play and go for walks, but he also has mastered quite a few tricks and commands!   Talk about clever!  Not only does he know the commands to sit, lie down, and roll over, but he also has been taught to ring the bell when he wants to go outside!! We think he would really accel at agility training because he is so agile and a quick learner.

Buster's loves to also go for walks, and he hopes his new home will have him do this regularly, and he likes to play with toys-- squeaky toys are his favorite because they make the funny noise he cannot resist!  The other wonderful feature about Buster is that he is very affectionate and he loves to cuddle, so he would also make a great friend for those lazy nap times. Sometimes he tries to sit on your lap because he forgets and thinks he's a lap dog-- he just cannot get close enough!

Buster is about 21 months, so he is young and full of energy and life still seen in big puppies.  We believe him to be a Boxer/Bull Mastiff/Staffordshire mix. He is about 90lbs, up to date on all his shots, neutered, housebroken (with a bell nonetheless!) and crate trained.  Buster does want all of your attention, so he probably should also be your only pet.

Buster is in need of urgent re-homing as my landlord said I could not keep him anymore, and I have not been able to find another affordable living option that would allow me to keep him.  We all love Buster very much, and want to make sure that he goes to a good home. We will provide his crate, leash, collar, food bowls, and toys. We would be willing to pay for some vet care and food, and we are willing to pay for his heartworm, tick & flea protection for the rest of his life.

Buster is an amazing dog that will make an excellent and loyal companion, will you be the one to give him a loving home?

About Adopt a Homeless Animal

About Our Rescue Group...

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.

We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:
•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.
•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.
•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.
•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Please help us help the animals!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a rescue that is dependent on volunteers as we do not have a physical building. Thus, our dogs are in foster homes, so if you would like to meet one of our dogs please contact us to make arrangements. Thanks!

Our Adoption Process...

An approved application, vet reference, personal reference check and home visit are required to finalize an adoption. Also, there is a $175 adoptiong fee/ donation to help offset some of the expenses relating to vaccinations, spay / neuter, feeding, boarding and miscellanious veterinary costs.
Adoption fees are used to continue to help homeless animals in need!
