Mills's Story...
Meet Mills! This gorgeous boy with the silky black coat is looking for a forever home. He is less than a year old and weighs under 50 pounds, but will probably gain a little bit of weight. He came in as his previous owner was no longer able to care for him. Mills is very friendly and absolutely loves to be around his human friends. While slightly reserved he will snuggle right up to you and give you love for hours! He takes treats very gently. Mills seems unsure of other dogs but is interested in meeting them. Come meet this wonderful snuggler today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mills, a Philadelphia Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
