Avalon *Foster Needed*'s Story...
Hello there, I'm Avalon and I am 2 years old. I was part of a breeding pair dumped at the shelter. My cute face and colored eyebrows won over the members of OpEd and I officially became an OpEd dog! I love all my doggie brothers and sisters in my new foster home. My favorite thing is my red Kong. I don't leave it anywhere! I can't wait for my new home...all I ask is that they allow me to bring my Kong toy!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Avalon *Foster Needed*, a Christiana American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Christiana, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Christiana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Christiana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Christiana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Christiana paves the way for another one to be saved.
