found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Little Skip is happy as a clam and cute as a button. He was found wandering the streets in a bad neighborhood. He was all alone and without any identification. The person that found him was not able to find his previous owners and so now he is looking for a “good” and forever home where someone will care where he is. He is about 6 months old and he loves to play, play and play. He’s very friendly with people and loves to play with toys and other dogs. He has all of the features of a terrier, but he has the body of a dachshund. He weighs about 18 pounds, so he won’t be a large dog. Skip is learning how to use a doggie door. For training purposes, when he comes into the house, he is confined to one room and does not have run of the entire house. While we would believe that he is mostly housetrained, he might need a little time and patience to adjust to his new surroundings and to get used to a new routine. Keep in mind that he is still a puppy so he will need some supervision and training. Skip is a great little dog. He would make a wonderful addition to any family. About our adoption process: For more information or to request an adoption application (required), please contact the dog's foster listed above. There is no commitment by submitting the application - it just helps us determine if the pet you are interested in will be a good match for you. Next is a meet and greet at one of our adoption events - typically held on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Chandler, AZ (Ray Rd & I-10). Not every pet is at every event so please contact us first to find out when and where you can meet the pet you are interested in. If there are other dogs in your household, we suggest bringing them to ensure everyone gets along. The standard adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $140 (cash or check) which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip and collar/tags.
