Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cody is a poodle and he is 5 years old and weighs 20 pounds. He is a cool, laid back dog. He has lots of playful energy but also has taken over one of the recliners here and enjoys his rest. He is good with other dogs but does not like aggressive dogs as he is a more submissive male and gets scared if another dog tries to be mean to him. He notices cats but does not seem to think of them as something to chase. He has a cute little smile permanently on his face and he does a happy dance and runs in circles at meal times! He would make a great dog in almost any living situation. He is housetrained, but he does not make signals when it is time to potty, he just gets to go out every couple of hours and he does his business outside. He gets scared in new situations or with new people (example: at the vet!) and so his caretaker always needs to be able to reassure him in new situations and not expect him to be easily adaptable to new things. With a soothing voice and a nice pet to the side of his face, he will calm down. Since he is a poodle with that poodle curly hair, he will require regular grooming. Cody was an owner surrender to a high kill shelter. He was surrendered with his relative, Prince. Cody is current on all vaccines including rabies, neutered and microchipped.
