Squirt's Story...
Hi, they call me Squirt because I am only 5 pounds, but I am all dog!!! I am a cute, white and gold chihuahua who is a definte character. I was a stray and saved from a kill shelter, so not much is known about my history. I am likely 6-8 years old and have an appointment to be neutered and also have my teeth cleaned next week. I have been dewormed and am learning to be housetrained. I get along fine with other dogs and ignore cats. I like to be petted, but I am not a "needy" dog. I will also be micro chipped before going home with you. My adoption donation is $250. Please call (623) 587-9119 or call or text (925) 209-6480 or email diane@tarescue.com to learn more about me and to meet me in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Squirt, a Phoenix Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
