Pepper's Story...
Pepper fka Princess Lite Brite A17952386-
Hello!!!! My name is Princess Lite Brite (A17952386). I am a young, 38 pound, brindle, Terrie, Pitbull Mix. I was found as a stray. I have Demodex Mange, non contagious, which means I am losing some of my hair and my skin is real crusty, flaky, and bleedy sometimes. But not to worry, the shelter will send me home with medicine to clear it up and my hair will grow back in no time.

Despite her mange, Pepper is a lively and vibrant little girl. She's all pit bull, muscular, strong and high energy in a compact 38 lbs and she's full grown! She's a pint sized pup with big dog personality. Pepper needs room to run in a yard or dog park to drain her excitable energy. She's playful and polite with her foster brother and sister. She shows no interest in cats on walks and she does well on the leash without pulling me. Pepper acts much like a puppy in a lot of ways and needs help remembering her manners. She will need more training and to continue her medications and regular bathing, too. Contact my foster parents at: yeahword@gmail.com for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Philadelphia Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
