Talia (foster care)'s Story...
Talia (A18678874) I’m Tallie, a gentle little gingerbread-colored girl with golden eyes, and all I want to do is love you. My whole body wiggles with love when I see my humans, I have this crazy little dance I like to do to greet you, don’ t you want to see it?
I’m a former mama and I have a little scar on my head that hints at maybe some tough times in the past, but whatever my story is it hasn’t made me love people or dogs one bit less. If you are feeling low I will swivel my giant ears around to make you laugh, or very sweetly curl up right on your lap. I am not very big and I’m a pretty low to medium energy girl – snuggling and quietly chewing on something nice are my favorite things, so I’m really easy to have around the house. I didn’t get much training in my former life, but I’m very smart and eager to please – I’ve learned “sit” and “come” and how to walk on a leash like a lady in no time! I’m pretty well-behaved by nature.
I’m crazy about my foster sister dog Zoe, and I think I’d like to live in a house with another dog, because I have so much love to give I’d really like to spread it around. I think I’d get along fine with kids, too, I love everybody! Contact her foster mom at carisem@gmail.com with any inquiries.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Talia (foster care), a Philadelphia Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
