Bama's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Bama's Story...

Bama was born on March 10, 2012...he was dumped out in the county to fend for himself...luckily he was taken in by a very nice family who loved him...unfortunately they had more animals than they could manage. Now Bama is looking for a new home...a forever home...where he can lay his head and live life to the fullest.

Gentle, sweet, even tempered, playful, engaging, huggable, kissable...oh my...Bama is just a doll!! He gets along well with other cats and even enjoys playing with a cat-friendly doggie. He loves to sit in a lap and be petted...and even though he doesn't always like to be picked up and help for a long time, he does love to be where his people are...even snuggling up with them in bed.

As with all Forgotten Felines cats for adoption, Bama is neutered...he is current on his tests and shots. For more detailed information about this wonderful boy, please contact his foster parents, Sarah and Dan at 256-658-3885.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bama, a Capshaw Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Capshaw, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Capshaw.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Capshaw already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Capshaw breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Capshaw paves the way for another one to be saved.
