Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chipper is a very handsome chocolate Labbie mix boy, about 15 months old and weighing in at 64 lbs. He is a higher energy young boy with great potential for someone that has an active lifestyle and willing to take him to classes and work with him. He was an owner surrender because of his owner being evicted from their home. He so wants to learn and is a really sweet boy. Chipper will need a fenced in yard to run or a doggie park nearby. He knows to sit for an ear rub or for a treat, which he takes very gently. He loves to chew on his toys, such as a Nylabone wishbone or a peanut butter filled kong. Chipper loves to lay with you on the couch or on your feet and keep you company. He is submissive with other dogs, but loves to start a game of catch me if you can. The cats in Chip's foster home know that he plays a little too rough with them, so they stay away. He needs a little work walking on a leash, but he would make a wonderful walking and running partner or an anything you want to do partner.
Chipper is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and micro-chipped. He is being kept on flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative. Chipper is crate trained and house trained. If you would like to be the one to make Chipper part of your family please fill out an online application and indicate him in the note section
