WATCH MY VIDEO! Isa is a 1 year old, female Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix. She has the ears of the Chihuahua and the thin dainty body of the Greyhound. She weighs 7lbs. Her coat is shiny, sleek and jet black. Isa was abandoned on the streets of Redlands along with her sister Bella and the girls somehow made their way over to a mechanics shop where they took up residence after the employees showed them kindness and compassion. They fed the girls for a while and tried to make their lives as comfortable as possible but eventually decided something more had to be done. The employees took the sisters to the Redlands animal shelter and we are happy they did because that’s where we stumbled upon them. Isa and her sister do not need to be adopted together. They are currently in 2 separate foster homes.
Isa is a gentle, sweet natured little dog. She is submissive and friendly with people and seems to be especially fond of the man in her foster home. She loves to cuddle up and relax with her people and is just happy to have a safe place to call her own. She is initially shy and reserved but once she knows you then she is lap dog. She is not demanding and is able to be on her own as well. Isa is not a yappy dog and will only bark at appropriate times like a doorbell ringing or to alert to something out of the ordinary.
Isa gets along with the other dogs in her foster home both big and small so she would be great as a companion for an existing dog. She is playful and loves her doggie toys. She is wonderful in the car and is just learning that going for a walk is fun stuff! Isa is a smart dog and housebreaking her was very easy. She is not hyper and has more of a medium energy level. She has survived so much in her young life and is now hoping to be someone’s cherished little dog.
Isa is spayed, micro chipped, rabies, dewormed and up to date on her vaccinations. If you would like to meet Isa please contact Theresa at treasuredtailsrescue@hotmail.com or call 951 852-7999. Welcome to Treasured Tails Canine Rescue. We are a volunteer based all breed dog rescue focusing on Riverside County and San Bernardino County animal shelters. The dogs we save from shelters are the ones in danger of euthanasia. Highly adoptable dogs lose their lives due to many reasons. Shelter over crowding, an easily treatable medical condition or injury, a dog who is extremely shy or frightened in the shelter environment or in many cases the dog is simply in need of a make over at the groomers. Once a dog enters our rescue he/she goes into a foster home where we can get to know that dog better which allows us to match the dog up with the right family. We do this for the love of dogs.
FOSTER HOMES ARE ALWAYS NEEDED! PLEASE CONTACT FOR FURTHER INFO ON BECOMING A FOSTER FOR OUR RESCUE.
Our dogs can be seen by appointment only. If you are interested in learning more about a particular dog, please contact us at treasuredtailsrescue@hotmail.com or call 951 852-7999
Our adoption process is as follows. An adoption application needs to be filled out so we know a little more about you and your home. This helps us match the right dog up with the right family. If it looks like a good match we will set up a time where the family can meet the dog and spend time together. It is required that all members of the household and their current dogs (if any) be present during the meet and greet. If things go well and the family decides to adopt, Treasured Tails will deliver dog to its new family on a day/time agreed upon by both parties.
Adoption fee is $200-$250 and that includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies. utd vaccinations and deworm.
An adoption contract must be signed by both parties upon adoption.
Treasured Tails Canine Rescue is a volunteer based dog rescue focusing on Riverside County and San Bernardino County animal shelters. Our available dogs are in foster homes throughout Riverside County and parts of Orange County. We adopt our dogs throughout Southern Ca only.
