Roxi - Big and Beautiful!'s Story...
ADOPTED APRIL 2013 Meet Roxi! She is a healthy 100-lb, 3-year-old purebred Saint Bernard. We have had Roxi spayed and fully vaccinated. Roxy is a friendly, active and obedient girl who loves her treats and cookies! She lives with and is good with kids and dogs. She has no experience with cats, however Roxy is interested in squirrels and small animals, but doesn't chase them, so cats are probably fine! Roxy is a social butterfly who is friendly and relaxed, but loves to play outside! She's reliable with the run of the house - when left alone she just goes to sleep :) Roxy is good off leash as she will follow her people and stay close. Roxy has a great temperament and will not disappoint her new family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxi - Big and Beautiful!, a Huntsville St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
