Coco's Story...
Meet Paw Protectors Rescue newest rescue , her name is Coco.

Coco is a 2 year old Chihuahua-Terrier-Doxie-Corgi Mix she is spayed,
Microchipped and UTD on all her shots. Coco is good with kids and dogs.

Coco's story is below.

DISTURBING:

Rescuer Extraordinaire, Claudia Hoffmann received a message that the Father of this family hated this dog Coco he asked the wife if they could somehow disable the microchip so he could take her for a car ride and throw Coco out of the car? The wife and children loves this dog and were fearful that the husband would hurt this dog so they asked for help in rehoming Coco. Claudia picked Coco up today and stated the sadness, confusion and fear I saw in Coco's eyes made me cry.
Thank you Claudia for getting her out of that house and situation and tomorrow
Coco is now under our care and a Paw Protectors Rescue dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco, a Oceanside Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Oceanside, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Oceanside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oceanside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oceanside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oceanside paves the way for another one to be saved.
