Nate's Story...
Meet Nate ♥

He is a 1.5 year old neutered male shepherd mix. Nate is a sweet and loving dog. He is very loyal and affectionate. Nate has been raised around kids and is good with other medium to large size dogs. Due to his large size, he should not be homed with small animals. He is around 90-100 lbs. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, dewormed and one hundred percent healthy. We are looking for a FOSTER or FOREVER home for this big guy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nate, a Long Beach German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
