Kara's Story...
Kara is a typical cocker who LOVES her people, will tag along after you wherever you might go and is content to sit with her head on your lap. Except for being excited to see you when you come home, she is mellow and gets along with everyone she meets including kids, cats and other dogs. She rides well in a car and walks well on a leash. We believe Kara is 11 years old. Kara needs to be rehomed because the child in her current home is highly allergic to her.

Please contact Joann at Savak9@sbcglobal.net for more information about Kara.

KARA IS NOT AN NORCAL RESCUE DOG, BUT IS BEING POSTED IN AN EFFORT TO SUPPORT A SUCCESSFUL REHOME.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kara, a Sacramento Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
