Dobbler's Story...
Dobbler came in to New Moon Rabbit Rescue’s care on 22 February 2012. He had originally been adopted to a forever home in 2010 but unfortunately this home did not turn out to be as “forever” as it was supposed to be.

Dobbler was born in March of 2007. He is neutered, litter trained and an all round sweet little man! His diet was not healthy when he was surrendered and he therefore did have some issues associate with it but we are currently working with him to improve his G.I. health and get him back on track. He is recovering very well.

He has been health checked and should be ready to be adopted in the next few weeks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dobbler, a North Gower Netherland Dwarf was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Netherland Dwarf for sale in North Gower, or seeking a Netherland Dwarf from a breeder in North Gower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Gower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Gower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Netherland Dwarf breeders who help with Netherland Dwarf rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Gower paves the way for another one to be saved.
