Harley's Story...
Harley & Davey
Meet Harley (female) and Davey (male)! Their owners surrendered these two Maine Coons when they had to move to an apartment that did not allow cats. As you can expect, they were completely heart broken at first. Thankfully, their hearts are on the mend and now they are looking for their TRUE forever home. They are both declawed and very affectionate and lovable. They are both about 4 years old and have lived together their whole lives. That being said, we cannot fathom separating them and we want them to be adopted together. They are perfect cats and will make a great addition to any home.

We spay/neuter all of our cats and they receive the necessary medical care including Rabies and Distemper vaccines, deworming, de-fleaing and testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.
Care for Animals is located at 2944 Post Rd. Warwick, RI 02886. You are welcome to visit during hospital hours. Our hours are Monday 8-7, Tuesday - Thursday 8-5 and Friday 9-3. We’re also happy to set up weekend appointments. You are welcome to email (office@care4animals.com) us with any questions. If you leave your phone number, we will gladly call you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Warwick Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Warwick, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
