Emmeline's Story...
There we were, under the porch in Louisiana, our momma just having given birth to us there. She was under stress, and was seen running around in the neighborhood. The man who lived there crawled under the porch and got us out. He took us to the shelter and we were so small! Lucky for us, that nice rescue person came to get us. They cared for us, vetted us and helped transport us to RI. I am really cute, with even markings on my head...but I am mostly white. I am small and should be under 10 pounds when grown. My ears are just starting to stand up! I am around 9-10 weeks old now and have had my 1st set of shots. I would love a family which is around in the day, with older, respectful children and maybe another, non-aggressive dog. Please ask about me if you are in RI, eastern CT, western MA or NY, Cape Cod, or are near Boston, Worcester or the Fall River areas. My fee of 375. covers vetting, transport, a Health Certificate and a check by a RI vet. Please call Judy with any further questions at 4012 640-0082...thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emmeline, a Foster Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Foster, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
