Tanner - PENDING, in Maine's Story...
Tanner just love playing and being on the move. He is very inquisitive and likes to be apart of everything, doing dishes, folding laundry, making the bed, and anything else you can imagine. He is doing well with his canine brother and enjoys running and playing with him. He has seen the cats and just smells them and moves on to the next activity.

The T puppies are gorgeous mixed breed babies! Their mom was a black and tan colored shepherd mix and dad was a mixed breed long haired dog - maybe shepherd/ retriever? Whatever they are, they are 100% adorable and they will be joining us in Maine soon! They should be medium to large as adults - all are around 20 lbs now at 12 weeks old (as of mid-March).

To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue,

Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.

Thank you for considering rescue!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tanner - PENDING, in Maine, a kennebunkport Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in kennebunkport, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in kennebunkport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in kennebunkport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a kennebunkport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in kennebunkport paves the way for another one to be saved.
