Merlin's Story...
Merlin is about 10 months old and his face is so sweet you really need to meet him in person to see all the love he has in his expressive eyes. Merlin is a happy boy that is great with just about everyone and anything. He is good with other dogs, listens well to his foster mom and enjoys new people and new adventures. He would love an active home that will make him part of the family. He can share his toys and is very gentle when he plays with the other dogs. He is so easy going we see no problem with him being with kids. We have not cat tested him but he shows no signs of having a high prey drive. Merlin does experience some issues with car sickness but this can be corrected over time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Merlin, a Denver German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Denver, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
