Sherlock's Story...
Hi! my name is Sherlock and I was rescued from a very unsafe beach for dogs in Puerto Rico. I am now looking for a loving furever home. I am being fostered in Brooklyn. My foster family loves me and says I love car rides. I also love to take walks and I walk well on a leash. I am great with other dogs. I love to play but really like snuggling on the couch and giving kisses. I am about a year old, 30 lbs, neutered, fully vvaccinated and heartworm negative. If you would like to meet me please email meryl@thesatoproject.com. Can't wait to meet you. Love and Kisses, Sherlock :)).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sherlock, a Madison Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Madison, or seeking a Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
