Boots's Story...
This Boots was made for walkin right into your life! A frisky fellow, he likes to have a rootin tootin good time with his foster buddy Cowboy. And as you can see from a photo he sometimes breaks out his fancy Thriller dance moves when feeling especially rowdy. He is fleet of boot and shows off fancy footwork in his soccer game along with prowess in housefly corraling. After Boots finishes kickin up some dust he heads straight to the warmest seat in the house for some cuddle time and that is the one in which you are sitting. And forget sending him to the bunk house for the night because Boots prefers to share a saddle blanket with you. Come say howdy to this handsome cowboy-kerchiefed fellow. Boots was born 2/14/2012.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boots, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
